About us
Weiqi is an ancient Chinese board game that is considered one of the hardest board games to play. Our goal is to popularize the game of Weiqi to the City of Langley. We teach kids, teeagers,and adults the methods, techiniques, and strategies built around the game.

Teacher and Designer
John moved to Canada in 2006 along with his parents. Along with his father Jack, he hopes to spread the game of Weiqi casually and competitively!
Jack Zheng | 1-Dan
Founder and Marketing Director
Jack was born in Jilin, China. He moved to Canada with his wife and son in 2006 to start a new chapter in life. Ever since he was a teenage, he has always been passionate about the game of Weiqi. When he arrived to Langley, he was surprised that there was not a big community supporting Weiqi. With that in mind, he decided to start the Langley Weiqi Association. Through the association, he hopes to show people of all ages the fun, strategic, and interesting game of Weiqi.

Nating Liu is the president of the China Weiqi Association. When Jack began the Langley Weiqi Association, Nating was eager to help out the association.
